We had a very exciting Spelling Bee this year at BHCS!
The bee lasted for a total of 20 rounds with a total of 155 words spelled. Maggie Campbell won the spelling bee by spelling the word lollygag correctly. She will go on to participate in the Regional Charter School Bee during the week of February 3. Maggie has participated in the school spelling bee all three years and was our runner up in our 2024 School Spelling Bee. Our 2025 runner up is Jaxsyn Thurman! Jaxsyn is a two time school spelling bee participant and did a wonderful job in our bee. We are so excited for both our winner and runner up! We are also very proud of all of our participants! They are super spellers, all making it to at least the fourth round of the bee! Congratulations to all of our participants for their success and bravery in taking the stage!
