Bethel Hill Charter School
Laying the Foundation for Individual Excellence
We cannot believe the end of the school year is almost here! As we use this week for wrap up and assessments, we are so proud of all of our Wildcats for finishing six weeks of Remote Learning! Here are a few updates and reminders:
- Final Collection Day – Will be Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. We will be passing out class pictures, yearbooks, TAD/GREAT shirts, Kids Heart Challenge prizes, and any other items that need to be sent home. We will also be collecting Chromebooks (don’t forget the charger!) and library books. Bring those with you, as well as any work that your teachers asked you to turn in.
- End of Year Celebrations – Each grade level is planning something special for their students. Be on the lookout for details.
-BHCS End of Year Parade! – We will be having a school-wide parade to celebrate the end of the school year on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Start decorating your cars and get ready to blow your horn! We are looking forward to seeing you drive by!
-Student Feedback Reports – Due to the school closure, students in grades K-5 will not receive a final grade. Because of this, we will be sending home a Student Feedback Report by mail on June 4, 2020. This will take the place of the final report card. Class assignments will also be sent home in this letter. Make sure your home address is correct and updated with the front office.
-Remote Learning Survey – As we wrap up our Remote Learning Program, we’d like to ask feedback from our parents and students as we look forward to the possibility of using Remote Learning in the future.
Finishing this year strong would not have been possible without the tremendous support from our Wildcat families to ensure that learning continued, despite of the closure and the circumstances you faced. Thank you for making learning a priority. Although we are not 100% sure what school will look like when we return, we can’t wait for you all to return and see your faces – we miss you!
Stay safe Wildcats!
