Middle School Tour Schedules

It is hard to believe that it is almost time for your children to take the next step in their lives and prepare for the transition to middle school.  We would like to share some important dates from the local middle schools.  They have arranged dates for your child to come to their school for a visit and learn more about their exciting middle school years.  Please take note of the following important dates:
 

Northern Middle School:                 Friday, January 25                9:00 am -12:30 pm

Students will tour classrooms, learn about electives, participate in a pep rally and eat lunch. This visit is for students only.


Southern Middle School:                 Tuesday, February 5            10:15 am – 2:00 pm

Students will tour classrooms, learn about electives, meet with the school counselor about course selections, eat lunch with the sixth grade students and participate in a pep rally. This visit is for students only.
 

Pastries with Parents         
Thursday, January 17, Tuesday, February 19, and Wednesday, March 6       8:45 am - 10:30 am

 **Please note that permission slips will be sent home for parents to complete for school tours at Northern Middle School and Southern Middle School.



Roxboro Community School:         Thursday, January 10           6:00 pm
Parents are invited to come to RCS and learn more about RCS. Current RCS students will share their perspective on being a Bulldog.  A tour of the building will follow the meeting and staff will be available to answer questions as well.

 

Dog Walk Tour                              Tuesday, January 22            9:00 am – 11:00 am

Parents can bring their child to tour the RCS campus and learn more about what RCS offers to its middle school students.
